Great article Roger. I like this vision of competition and distributed winning. It is a strategic winning strategy. Not winning at all costs. When I am working with clients - my goal is often to help them define their purpose and reason for being. Being true to who you are as an organization is winning. Losing misaligned customers to the competition is a good thing. More companies should look at ecosystem collaboration strategy - which includes the competition. In fact - many companies should look to strategic partnerships to support R&D and innovation.
